Equipped with multi-layer hydrophobic composite cellulose filter media, this filter efficiently captures rust, sand, sludge, colloidal particles and other solid contaminants, while separating free water mixed in diesel fuel effectively. It provides comprehensive protection for fuel injectors, fuel pumps and precision engine internal components against abrasive wear, blockage and water-induced corrosion. Usage & Installation Method: Preparation: Turn off the engine and close the fuel inlet valve to release residual pressure inside the fuel pipeline. Prepare a filter wrench, absorbent rags and a container to collect spilled diesel fuel. Remove old filter: Rotate the old filter counterclockwise to unscrew it completely. Thoroughly clean the mounting base to wipe away old gasket residue, dirt and residual fuel thoroughly. Gasket lubrication: Apply a thin layer of clean diesel fuel evenly on the new rubber sealing gasket. Do not use grease, as it will cause rubber aging, swelling and sealing failure. Install new filter: Hand-tighten SGL-2000615 clockwise until the gasket fits tightly against the base surface, then turn an additional 3/4 turn with a wrench. Avoid over-tightening to prevent thread damage and gasket deformation. Leakage test: Restore fuel supply and start the engine to idle for 3–5 minutes. Carefully inspect the connection joint; installation is complete successfully if no fuel leakage appears. Replacement cycle: Replace every 15,000–20,000 km under regular highway working conditions. Shorten the cycle to 10,000–15,000 km for dusty construction sites, farm areas or usage of low-quality diesel fuel.
