Usage & Installation Method: Preparation: Turn off the engine and release residual pressure in the fuel pipeline. Prepare a filter wrench, absorbent rags and a container to hold spilled diesel fuel. Remove old filter: Rotate the old filter counterclockwise to unscrew it fully. Wipe the filter mounting base thoroughly to remove old gasket residue, dirt and residual oil completely. Lubricate the seal gasket: Spread a thin layer of clean diesel on the new rubber sealing ring. Do not use grease, which will cause rubber aging and sealing failure. Install the new filter: Tighten SGL-2000501 clockwise by hand until the gasket fits closely against the base, then turn an extra 3/4 turn with a wrench. Never over-tighten to avoid thread damage and gasket deformation. Leakage test: Start the engine and idle for 3–5 minutes. Inspect the joint position carefully. No fuel leakage means the installation is finished successfully. Replacement cycle: Replace every 15,000–20,000 km under normal road conditions. Shorten the replacement interval to 10,000–15,000 km for dusty working sites or inferior diesel fuel usage.
