  • LGS2000211 FF5488 FF5767 Spin-On Diesel Fuel Water Separator Filter  The LGS2000211 fuel water separator serves as a direct cross replacement for Fleetguard FF5488 and FF5767 filters, designed specially for heavy-duty commercial trucks, construction machinery and diesel generator sets equipped with Weichai and Cummins engines. This integrated spin-on filter combines fine fuel filtration and efficient water separation functions. The multi-layer hydrophobic composite filter media can effectively trap rust, sand, sludge, colloidal impurities in diesel, while separating free water mixed in fuel thoroughly. It provides full protection for high-pressure fuel pumps, fuel injectors and precision engine components from wear, corrosion and blockage. Manufactured strictly according to OEM dimensional standards, it supports direct plug-and-play installation without modification. Featuring stable flow performance, strong dirt holding capacity and affordable aftermarket cost, it is an ideal maintenance spare part for gas stations, truck repair workshops, fleet operators and global machinery equipment suppliers. Usage & Installation Method: Preparation: Turn off the engine completely, close the fuel inlet valve and release residual pressure of the fuel system. Prepare a filter wrench, oil-absorbing cloth and container to collect leaked diesel. Remove old filter: Rotate the original filter counterclockwise to unscrew it, then fully wipe the mounting base to clear old gasket residue, dirt and residual fuel completely. Filter pre-treatment: Apply a thin layer of clean diesel on the new rubber sealing gasket. Do not use grease, as it will cause rubber aging and sealing failure. Installation: Hand tighten the new LGS2000211 filter clockwise until the gasket closely fits the base surface, then tighten an additional 3/4 turn with a wrench. Avoid over-tightening to prevent thread damage or gasket deformation and leakage. Leakage test: Restore fuel supply and start the engine to idle for 3–5 minutes. Inspect the connection position carefully. Installation finishes successfully if no fuel leakage occurs. Replacement cycle: Replace every 22,000–30,000 km under regular highway driving conditions. Shorten the cycle to 12,000–20,000 km when working in mining, construction sites or using poor-quality diesel fuel.
