SGL-20998367 FS19735 FS19926 Spin-On Diesel Fuel Water Separator Filter SGL-20998367 is a premium spin-on integrated fuel water separator filter, cross compatible with part numbers FS19735 and FS19926. It is specially engineered for heavy-duty commercial trucks, off-road construction machinery and industrial diesel generator engines. Adopting high-performance multi-layer reinforced filter media, this filter efficiently captures rust, sediment, dust, sludge and colloidal contaminants inside diesel fuel, meanwhile separating free water mixed in fuel efficiently. It delivers full protection for high-pressure fuel pumps, fuel injectors and core engine precision parts from abrasion, clogging and water corrosion. Manufactured strictly according to OEM dimensional standards, it supports direct plug-and-play installation without modification. Featuring stable fuel flow performance, excellent contaminant storage capacity and favorable aftermarket cost, it is an essential maintenance spare part for repair workshops, construction fleets and global filter wholesale distributors.
Core material and internal structure:
Preparation: Fully shut down the engine, close the fuel inlet valve and release residual pressure in the fuel pipeline. Prepare a filter wrench, absorbent rags and a container to collect spilled diesel fuel during disassembly.
Remove old filter: Rotate the original filter counterclockwise to unscrew it completely. Clean the mounting base thoroughly to clear old gasket residue, dirt and residual fuel thoroughly.
Gasket lubrication: Apply a thin layer of clean diesel evenly on the new rubber sealing gasket. Do not use grease, which will cause rubber aging, swelling and permanent sealing failure.
Install new filter: Hand-tighten SGL-20998367 clockwise until the gasket closely fits the base surface, then turn an extra 3/4 turn with a wrench. Over-tightening is forbidden to avoid thread damage and gasket deformation leading to leakage.
Leakage test: Restore fuel supply and start the engine to idle for 3–5 minutes. Carefully inspect the connection joint. The installation is completed successfully if no fuel leakage occurs.
Replacement cycle: Replace regularly under normal highway working conditions. Shorten the replacement interval properly when operating in dusty mining sites, construction sites or applying low-quality diesel fuel.
