FF5485 BF7813 Spin-On Diesel FUEL Filter  FF5485 BF7813 fuel filter is a premium spin-on aftermarket diesel filter engineered to replace original Fleetguard FF5485 and Baldwin BF7813 elements. Usage & Installation Method: Prepare tools: filter wrench, clean rag, collect container for residual diesel, turn off engine and release fuel system residual pressure completely. Unscrew the old fuel filter counterclockwise, wipe the filter mounting base thoroughly to clear old gasket debris and grime. Lubricate the new rubber sealing gasket with clean diesel fuel (do not use grease) to ensure tight sealing. Hand-tighten the new FF5485 BF7813 filter clockwise until the gasket touches the base firmly, then turn an additional 3/4 turn with a wrench. Do not over-tighten to avoid thread damage and gasket rupture. Start the engine and idle for 3–5 minutes, inspect the connection joint carefully for fuel leaks. Installation is complete if no leakage occurs. Replacement cycle: Replace every 20,000–25,000 km under normal highway conditions; shorten to 12,000–18,000 km when running on low-quality fuel or dusty working environments.
