Usage & Installation Method: Preparation: Turn off the engine completely and release residual pressure inside the fuel pipeline. Prepare a filter wrench, absorbent cloth and waste oil container to collect spilled diesel. Remove old filter: Rotate the old fuel filter counterclockwise to unscrew it. Fully clean the mounting base to remove old gasket residues, dirt and residual oil. Preprocess new filter: Apply a thin layer of clean diesel to the rubber sealing gasket of FF5740 filter. Never use grease, which will cause rubber aging and sealing failure. Installation: Tighten the filter clockwise by hand until the gasket closely fits the base surface, then turn another 3/4 circle with a wrench. Do not over-tighten to avoid thread damage and gasket deformation. Leakage test: Start the engine and keep idling for 3 to 5 minutes. Check the joint position carefully.
