Usage & Installation Method: Preparation: Shut off the engine, close the fuel inlet valve and release residual fuel pressure in pipelines. Prepare a filter wrench, absorbent rags and a container to collect spilled diesel. Remove old filter: Twist the old filter counterclockwise to detach it. Clean the mounting base thoroughly to wipe away old gasket residue, dirt and residual fuel completely. Gasket lubrication: Coat a thin layer of clean diesel on the new rubber sealing gasket. Do not apply grease to avoid rubber swelling and sealing failure. Install new filter: Tighten the LGS2000311 filter clockwise by hand until the gasket closely attaches to the base, then turn an extra 3/4 turn with a wrench. Never over-tighten to prevent thread breakage and gasket deformation. Leak test: Restore fuel supply and start the engine for 3-5 minutes idling.
