Usage & Installation Method: Preparation: Turn off the engine fully, close the fuel inlet valve and release residual pressure inside the fuel pipeline. Prepare a filter wrench, absorbent cloth and waste oil container to collect spilled diesel fuel. Remove old filter: Rotate the old filter counterclockwise for removal. Completely clean the mounting base to clear old gasket residue, dirt and residual fuel. Gasket lubrication: Apply a thin layer of clean diesel oil to the new rubber sealing gasket. Do not use grease, which will cause rubber aging and sealing failure. Install the filter: Hand-tighten the new filter clockwise until the gasket fits tightly to the base surface, then turn an additional 3/4 turn with a wrench. Do not over-tighten to avoid thread damage and gasket deformation. Leakage inspection: Restore fuel supply and idle the engine for 3–5 minutes. Carefully check the connection joint. Installation is complete if no fuel leakage is detected. Replacement cycle: Replace every 20,000–30,000 km under regular highway operation.
